This module will facilitate the learner to understand the role, entitlements, and responsibilities of the care worker.  The learner will understand the importance of multidisciplinary work within the care sector while exploring the various needs of clients within that sector.  The learner will learn how to apply the skills of care while understanding its concepts while demonstrating an ability to plan and implement enhanced quality of care.  This module may be completed as a standalone component or as part of a suite of four modules comprising Care Skills, Care Support, Palliative Care and Infection Prevention and Control.  This suite of 4 courses runs for the academic year.
