Electronics, Robotics & Security Systems Technology

Description

This full-time course is designed to teach students the skills necessary to work in many growing areas within the Engineering/Technology sector, along with the installation of Intruder Alarm Systems and Closed-Circuit TV Surveillance systems.

The course also introduces students to software development and robotics through the use of Arduino microcontrollers as well as 3D modelling and 3D printing. Students will also learn how to design, build, and test various electronic circuits.

With the experience gained in areas such as cabling systems and electronics, many graduates go on to do apprenticeships in the electrical sector or continue their studies to in electrical/mechanical engineering.
