- An extensive darkroom and processing area for Black & White analogue printing.
- A spacious photography studio with professional lighting systems.
- Full access to the Adobe Suite of Digital Media Packages.
Certification
QQI Level 5 – Photography (5M2094)
Minimum Entry Requirements
- Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent.
- Successful completion of interview.
- Applicants are also requested to bring a portfolio containing 5 - 10 pieces of recent work.
Work Experience
Work experience placement is an integral part of this course. Students must obtain one day per week work experience for the academic year. The day will be specified by the College.
Costs
A student services contribution of €50 is payable on registration. The purpose of which is to cover services, materials, and supports including printing, photocopying, library, student cards etc. This is non refundable.
Progression
The full QQI Level 5 Certificate facilitates entry, on a competitive basis, to a range of third-level institutions nationwide. The full QQI Level 5 Photography Certificate will also qualify for entry to the to WCFE's Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Photography, apply via our website.
